On 2 December 2009, on the occasion of its 10th Anniversary, CENTR organized a seminar on the Domain Name System (DNS) and Internet Governance. The Seminar was followed by a High Level dinner with Commissioner for Information Society and Media Viviane Reding, Member of the European Parliament Lambert van Nistelrooij and CENTR Chairman Andrzej Bartosiewicz as keynote speakers.
CENTR brought together several Members of the European Parliament, High Level Commission officials and country Representatives with ccTLD managers form different countries.
The event promoted CENTR as the one-stop-shop for anything policy makers need to know related to the Domain Name System and underlined the ccTLD community's commitment to the Internet Governance debate.
