Save your time and follow the best sources of information only

With so many sources of information and so many news, we have to deal with the incoming flood of data. I spent too much time checking different sites (CNN, bloomberg, BBC etc.) and going through the news. I wanted to be able to go through the list of the latest news only and check details of the most interesting ones. The second requirement was to check the news efficiently on the mobile devices too.

Twitter become the solution. My recipe is simple - I've created 3 lists dedicated to business, general news and domain names. Let me brief you on the content and how the lists are composed:

General News: @bartosiewicz/news

This list aggregates feeds from maximum 25 different Twitter accounts of the leading brands like CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, AP, NBC, Guardian. The list covers general news from around the world with focus on the US and British providers (including LA Times Technology or SFGate.com).

Business News: @bartosiewicz/business

Business news follows 12 carefully selected feeds from Financial Times, Bloomberg, BBC,Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Reuters, CNBC, S.F. Business Times and LA Times. No unnecessary feeds

Domain News: @bartosiewicz/domain-names

List dedicated to the Internet domain names is different. Due to the fact that there is no single source of reliable information, it has to aggregate almost 200 different feeds from companies and individuals dealing with that matter. I always keep less than 200 feeds aggregated. I check the list frequently and remove useless accounts and add new accounts if valuable, but the number of followed accounts never exceeds 200.

Feel free to follow my lists and save time following business news or technology issues. Comments and suggestions appreciated.
